Secret Codes in Public Places

I was at Walmart today and I realized, I absolutely love that place — I feel like a supermodel in there.
While there, I heard an announcement for “Code C” and I had to know what it was.
You see, airports, retail stores and hospitals all have secret codes to announce information to staff without causing alarm to the general public.
Walmart actually has a lot of these codes and for good reason. Perhaps the most well known code is “Code Adam.” It was invented by Walmart 1984 and it’s now used by many different companies, all over the world.
It’s named after Adam Walsh, son of America’s Most Wanted TV host John Walsh. Adam was kidnapped from a Sears store in 1981 and murdered. Walmart actually has a very strict policy about this code. All employees drop what they’re doing, some watch the doors and other sweep the store looking for the child. Employees do nothing else until the child is found.
Other Walmart Codes:
- Code Black – Severe weather (ex. tornado warning)
- Code Blue – Bomb threat
- Code Brown – Shooting
- Code Green – Hostage situation
- Code Orange – Chemical spill
- Code Red – Fire
- Code White – Accident
- Code C – Customer service or cashier needed
- Code 300 or Department 51 – Security
Walmart also has color coded pillars in their stores:
- Blue – Telephone
- Red – Fire extinguisher
- Orange – “Spill-O-Magic” station
Boat/Ship/Vessel Codes
- Code Oscar or Mr. MOB – Man overboard
- Bravo, Bravo, Bravo – Serious incident such as a fire
- Mr Skylight – Minor incident
- Code Blue – Medical emergency
Hospital Codes
- Code Blue, Code 90, Code 45 – Cardiac arrest
- Code Red, Dr Red, Dr Pyro, Dr Firestone – Fire
- Code Grey, Code Silver – Combative or violent person
- Code Orange – Mass casualty incident
- Code Black, Code Brown – Extreme weather warning
These are the most common codes, obviously some of these codes will be known by other code names in certain places. Some countries such as Australia, Canada and the United States have standards for these codes, but they differ from each other and many other countries do not have standards.

Well Clearly I would most definitely have to Say that 1 No GUNS themselves do not kill people, Let me Explain For 1 yes a gun is not a you nor should ever be miss lead to be one,Nor should it ever be left Down or unattended at any given time, Especially while it is loaded or in the presence of a small Child or someone that isn’t mentally awear of guns and the things they can do while in the wrong hands, How ever a gun can not and will not load it’s self nor can the Gun pull a trigger on its own, But if the gun is loaded and isn’t properly handled then Yes it can still go off with out the trigger being pulled this is cause of the gun being handled the wrong way,having a hair trigger,being bumped around or ruffed house with, or by simply dropping it can also cause it to go off, This is the #1 reason u should always be sure to unload the gun and be sure to always make sure there isn’t a round still in the chamber, If u are going to have or even handle a fire arm of any kind always be sure u know how to handle the fire arm and know how to safely handle these before ever touching or using one to be sure that No one is hurt,
The Second thing I want to make A lil more clear for some of u is, I WILL BE THE FIRST TO SAY THIS AND HOPE THAT U CAN ALL UNDERSTAND IT A LIL BETTER COMING FROM A RECOVERING DRUG USER MYSELF, I HAVE BATTLED A LONG AND HARD ROAD OVER THE YEARS, I HAVE WATCH MANY OF PEOPLE THAT I LOVED AND CARED ABOUT DIE OVER DRUGS AND I MYSELF HAVE HAD A FEW VERY CLOSE CALLS WITH KNOCKING ON THE DOOR OF DEATH IN MY PAST, I WANT U ALL TO KNOW SOMETHING YES PEOPLE DIE EVERYDAY FROM AS U ALL KNOW IT AS A DRUG OVERDOSE HOW EVER U SHOULD KNOW IT ISNT THE DRUG THAT KILLS PEOPLE, THE REAL CAUSE OF IT IS FROM THE ADDICTION, THE ADDICTION IS WHAT TAKES THE LIFE’S OF PEOPLE, I KNOW THIS PERSONALITY AND FIRST HAND, I MY SELF HAVE DANCED WITH THAT DEVIL FOR FAR TO LONG AND LUCKLY ENOUGH I WAS 1 OF THE VERY FEW THAT WAS ABLE TO DANCE WITH THE DEAMON LONG ENOUGH TO SEE THE LIGHT ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE TUNNEL TO MAKING IT OUT ALIVE, U SEE ONCE A PERSON USES A DRUG OR SUB.. THAT IS HIGH ADDICTIVE THEN UR BODY AUTOMATICALLY WILL START MAKING U THINK THAT U WANT MORE OF IT OR THAT U NEED IT, AND THEN OVER TIME U WILL DEPEND ON HAVING IT INORDER TO DO ANYTHING, EVEN EVERYDAY SIMPLE TASK, THIS IS BECAUSE WHEN U USE A DRUG OR SUB.. THAT IS HARMFULL TO UR BODY IT CAUSES UR BRAIN NOT TO FUNCTION PROPERLY LIKE IT SHOULD,
It can also cause alot of health issuse for u later on that can become life threatening if not treated,
For example, If u wake up and realized that u pulled a muscle in ur body and u don’t use drugs ur brain knows where ur pain is at already how ever if u was to use drugs u could have a headache and once u put them HARMFULL chemicals in to ur body now ur brain is no longer able to work like it should, so u had a headache before the chemical unbalance took place but now ur brain is confused and sends signals telling u ur pain is now 1000 times worse than it really is but now it isn’t a headache but it’s now ur big toe you see the problem that people have with addiction is they start by using a small amount of the drug or substance, and what happens over time their body will become used to that small amount that they started with and they no longer feel the effect like they want from the lump that they did from the beginning so they begin to use more and more trying to find that same feeling that they felt before which ends up leaving you to a drug overdose and possibly death so when you want to sit there and say that it is a drug that kills somebody understand the full meaning of what it means and know that it has to start by an addiction which is the leading cause to drug overdose I however recovering drug addict myself and I’m remaining clean and sober for quite some time now and hopefully this can help some of you understand a little more clear and better so that if you know somebody that is struggling with problem you may now know how to help them better before it’s too late
